All is Atum

Atum, sometimes rendered as Atem or Tem, is an important deity in Egyptian mythology. Atum is one of the most important and frequently mentioned deities from earliest times, as evidenced by his prominence in the Pyramid Texts, where he is portrayed as both a creator and father to the king. Atum's name is thought to be derived from the verb tm which means "to complete" or "to finish". Thus, he has been interpreted as being the "complete one" and also the finisher of the world, which he returns to watery chaos at the end of the creative cycle. As creator he was seen as the underlying substance of the world, the deities and all things being made of his flesh or alternatively being his ka.

ATUMU, a word in Urhobo* translated as "Sun", and actually means "The first to be", "The first to stand", "The first to be created", ... is probably the same word which evolved to be known today as: ATUM (ATOM).
*Urhobo is South-Western Edoid language spoken by the Urhobo people of southern Nigeria.

Atom

"The first principles of the universe are atoms and empty space; everything else is merely thought to exist."

Atom is the smallest particle of a chemical element that can exist. An atom consists of a central nucleus that is usually surrounded by one or more electrons. Each electron is negatively charged. The nucleus is positively charged, and contains one or more relatively heavy particles known as protons and neutrons.

The ancient Greek philosophers Democritus and Leucippus recorded the concept of the atomos, an indivisible building block of matter, as early as the 5th century BCE. All matter is made from atom. The word atom is derived from the ancient Greek word atomos, which means "not cuttable" or "indivisible", so if we remove prefix a-, we get tom ("τόμος"; tómos; slice, piece), derived from τέμνω (témnō, "to cut"), from Proto-Indo-European root *temh ("to cut"). So from atom (1): nonduality, monism, magnetism; we get tom (2): duality, polarity, vibration, electricity. Interesting, the first modern evidence for atoms appears in the early 1800s by British chemist John Dalton.

Atom can exist alone or in combination. Atomic theory states that investigations proved that the smallest unit of a chemical substance such as water is a molecule. Each molecule of water consists of a single atom of oxygen and two atoms of hydrogen joined by an electrical force called a "chemical bond", a lasting attraction between atoms, ions or molecules.

Magnetism

"In occult terminology, a form of elemental electricity which confers the power of attraction and creates polarity. Almost every person and object has magnetic attraction. Physical magnetism is deemed to be allied to electricity, hence associated with Uranus and Scorpio."

Magnetism is a physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charge, which results in attractive and repulsive forces between objects. The affected region around a moving charge consists of both an electric field and a magnetic field.

Magnetism was already known in the ancient world. The word magnet comes from the Greek term μαγνῆτις λίθος magnētis lithos meaning "the Magnesian stone" or "lodestone." In ancient Greece, Aristotle attributed the first of what could be called a scientific discussion of magnetism to the philosopher Thales of Miletus, who lived from about 625 BC to about 545 BC. The ancient Indian medical text Sushruta Samhita describes using magnetite to remove arrows embedded in a person's body. In ancient China, the earliest literary reference to magnetism lies in a 4th-century BC book named after its author, Guiguzi. The 2nd-century BC annals, Lüshi Chunqiu, also notes: "The lodestone makes iron approach; some (force) is attracting it." The earliest mention of the attraction of a needle is in a 1st-century work Lunheng (Balanced Inquiries): "A lodestone attracts a needle." The 11th-century Chinese scientist Shen Kuo was the first person to write—in the Dream Pool Essays—of the magnetic needle compass and that it improved the accuracy of navigation by employing the astronomical concept of true north. By the 12th century, the Chinese were known to use the lodestone compass for navigation. They sculpted a directional spoon from lodestone in such a way that the handle of the spoon always pointed south.

Torus

"Looking back on almost half a century of research, including thousands of books, films, interviews with experts from diverse fields, if I were to pick one common denominator to all the facets of my quest, it would be the TORUS, the fundamental energy pattern that invites our alignment at every level of our existence for us to survive and thrive."

A torus, in geometry, is a doughnut shaped, 3 dimensional figure formed when a circle is rotated through 360° about a line in its plane, but not passing through the circle itself. The word torus is derived from a Latin word meaning round, swelling, bulging place, elevation, protuberance.

Classes of tori and their shapes

All plants and trees show the same process of energy flow, despite having many different shapes and sizes. The torus is nature's perfect balanced dynamic energy flow process. It consists of a central axis, vortices at each end, and a surrounding energy field. The energy flows through one vortex, moves along the axis, out the second vortex, wraps back around the circumference, and passes again through the original vortex. This closed, self-sustaining system is widely accepted to represent perfection of energy flow.

Horn torus

This torus is at the root of all forms. Every atom, cell, animal, planet, person, planetoid, and even the galaxy itself, is at the core, a toroidal energy system. These forms are easily recognizable in many of nature's most powerful and simple creations. Whirl-pools and tornados; apples and tree trunks, the Earth, Sun and entire galaxy, are all examples of the torus energy field.

Animal magnetism

"By the expression Animal Magnetism I mean one of the universal operations of Nature, the action of which, when directed on our nerves, offers a universal means of curing and preserving man."

Oil painting of Franz Anton Mesmer.

Before we go on, I would like to briefly mention animal magnetism, also known as mesmerism, was the name given by German doctor Franz Mesmer in the 18th century to what he believed to be an invisible natural force (Lebensmagnetismus) possessed by all living things, including humans, animals, and vegetables. Mesmer was a passionate believer in the more esoteric aspects of Western medical tradition, including the influence of astrology and magnetism on human health. He believed that the force could have physical effects, including healing, and he tried persistently but without success to achieve scientific recognition of his ideas. Mesmer believed that good physical and psychological health came from properly aligned magnetic forces.

This practice can be traced back to ancient Egypt, from the time of Imhotep. The Egyptians used healing sanctuaries to heal people with all sorts of problems, both physical and mental, most of which today would be classed as psychological problems. These healing sanctuaries, dedicated to Imhotep, were called "Sleep Temples" or "Dream Temples". In these temples, the sick person was put in to a trance like sleep. Priests and priestesses then interpreted the person's dreams to gain knowledge about the illnesses and to find a cure for the illnesses. In Greece, Sleep Temples were renowned as places of great healing and were dedicated to the healing god Asclepius. He was a healer, a hero and god of medicine. The temples in his honour were temples of healing dreams. His daughters were Hygieia ("Hygiene", the goddess of cleanliness), Iaso (the goddess of recuperation from illness), Aceso (the goddess of the healing process), Aegle (the goddess of good health) and Panacea (the goddess of universal remedy). A Klínè was a sacred place or a sacred skin set out around the temple, where the sick person reclined to enter the dream state. From these names we have derived the words Panacea, Hygiene and Clinic. At the height of the cults power, there were around 420 temples, spread across the ancient Greek empire.

Today you can still encounter shrine sleep in many churches, temples and other places around the world.

Human Energy Field

"A realized one sends out waves of spiritual influence in his aura, which draw many people towards him. yet he may sit in a cave and maintain complete silence."

Kirlian photograph of a fingertip, 1989

The human energy field (HEF) or also known as aura, has gained increased attention over the 20th and 21st centuries. The HEF is defined as a luminous field of energy that comprises a person, extends beyond the physical body, and is in a continuous mutual process with the environmental energy field. It is a vital energy that is a continuous whole and is recognized by its unique pattern; it is dynamic, creative, nonlinear, unpredictable, and flows in lower and higher frequencies. The balanced HEF is characterized by flow, rhythm, symmetry, and gentle vibration. In some esoteric traditions, the aura is described as a subtle body. In spiritual medicine, the human being aura is seen as part of a hidden anatomy that reflects the state of being and health of a person, often understood to even comprise centers of vital force called chakras.

HEF forms a torus around the central energy channel. The central channel runs from the perineum to the inner most top crown of the head, just in front of the spine. The circumference of the central channel matches the circumference of the circle that is created when the tip of the thumb touches the tip of the index finger on the same hand.

Within the human being, each chakra, each acupuncture point, every energy center, is, in itself, a toroidal flow. It flows within itself, in both directions. Each atom, each cell, each organ, each organ system has its own toroidal field and energy flow, and each nests within the other, to create a larger, human torus.

The human torus connects to larger tori in the same way that the torus of a human cell or molecule connects to the larger human torus. It is part of the torus of the individual's soul, and of the Earth, and these tori connect to the universal torus. All tori are connected to Source, which is all inclusive and all encompassing.

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart."

Interestingly, science has only recently found and this has been published in peer-reviewed journals over the last few years, that the human heart is the largest generator of electrical and magnetic fields in the body. Our brains generate an electrical and a magnetic field, but they’re relatively weak, as compared to the heart. The electrical field of the heart is about 100 times stronger than that of the brain, and the heart’s magnetic field is about 5000 times stronger than the magnetic field of the brain. Our own physics textbooks say that if you want to change the atoms of physical matter, you have to change either the electrical field or the magnetic field and the heart does both. An exchange of electromagnetic energy produced by the heart occurs when people touch or are in close proximity of one another.
